Freedom

A photo series shot in the city of Rome, capturing the many faces of freedom. During a time of facades, it seems that freedom is hard to find, freedom in the form of expressing true, raw, unfiltered emotion. During this shoot, I wanted to achieve an aesthetic that was somewhat tactile upon seeing it, I wanted to feel what I saw. My conversation with Tracey carried a depth that most today would drown in, it journeyed through smiles and tears, we spoke about freedom and fears, the past and how it brought us to the points in which we were in at that moment. Her expressions were so unfiltered, she held nothing back so documenting the moments were nothing short of freeing.
